The 1/4 inch Right Guide Foot is designed to help you achieve perfect 1/4 inch seams when piecing. Simply keep the fabric edge next to the guide. The distance between the needle and the right guide is 1/4 inch. The 1/4 inch Right Guide Foot also gives a perfect 1/4 inch topstitch distance from the edge of a block when stitching the blocks, batting and backing together. Piecing: 1. Snap on the 1/4 inch Right Guide Foot. 2. Engage the IDTTM. 3. Select a straight stitch. 4. Place the fabric right sides together under the presser foot with the guide at the edge of the fabric. 5. Sew the blocks together, guiding the edges so that it touches the right guide. Topstitching: 1. Snap on the 1/4 inch Right Guide Foot. 2. Engage the IDTTM. 3. Decorate your project with glittery sequins by using this replacement Fancy Trim Foot. This foot will easily guide the sequins through a groove at the front of the foot, while your sewing machine stitches your fancy trim in place invisible. Only circle round sequins can be used. Add sequins or decorative trim to your project. The Fancy Trim foot by Viking Husqvarna is uniquely designed with a guide at the front of the foot to assist with attaching sequins, trim and other decorative embellishments to your project. Simply attach foot, guide the embellishment of your choice through the guide and under the foot, and sew. This is a very simple and fun foot to have. With the Fancy Trim foot and your imagination, you can turn a boring project into something they will notice.
Other information
- Thread with invisible thread on top and regular sewing thread in the bobbin. Snap on the Fancy Trim foot and select a Hand Look Appliqué Stitch. Adjust the stitch length to 4.5 and the width according to the width of your sequins. Make sure to use Tear-Away stabilizer underneath your fabric. 2. Slide the sequins into the groove at the front of the presser foot. Make sure you have pulled a piece of the sequin trim under the foot and through to the back of the foot before you start to sew. (Another way to put the sequins in place is to pull the sequins through the presser foot before you snap it on - whatever feels good for you.) 3. Start sewing on a scrap of your fabric, since different fabrics behave in different ways. Sew slowly to prevent sewing through the sequins. Please Note: Not for EMERALD™ 122, 118 and 116 machines.

Perfect for appliqué and other sewing applications requiring an unobstructed view of the sewing area. Produce beautiful appliqué quickly and easily with this foot. Use with a pin-stitch or shell-edging program to achieve an appliqué with the look of handsewn overcasting.
- Cut the pieces to shape without any seam allowance or press under seam allowance of easily materials that fray easily using a template. 2. Iron paper-backed fusible web onto the design. Tear the paper backing away and iron the appliqué fabric onto the base material. 3. Attach the Open-Toe Appliqué Foot with IDTTM (if available on your machine). 4. Select a stitch and guide the design edge along the inner edge on the right side of the foot to assure even seams along the edge. (Use pattern mirror if needed.) This also hides the straight stitch in the shadow of the seam for a hand-sewn look
